What about Darfuri children?

Ismail Ahmed Ismail entered the record books as the first Sudanese to win a medal in an Olympic. Good for him.

What bothered me is this: he dedicated his medal to the children of Palestine, Iraq and Afghanistan.

Where are the children from Darfur? Don't they deserve a medal?

The children of Darfur are in Darfur, and no, they don't deserve a medal. Not according to the pattern, which seems to be countries that have been invaded by western coalitions.

you know, he dedicated it to Sudan and all Sudanese people but the iraqi and palestinian children was awkward.
I would dedicate it to peace in Sudan and then I might add to peace all over the world.

i can't agree more with what u just said, but the thing is if he dedicated to Darfour children that means we admit to the world there are alot of children are dying, but the funny thing he dedicated to iraqi and palestine because of the media, i have the feeling he has been told to say so,
in the other hand he made us all proud, thanx Ismail
