The vicious circle

First you said it never happened, then you deny you were involved. Later you admit, but said reports were not true. A day later you say yes it happened and then apologies. What do you do next? You send your top minister to explain what happened: damage control.

Yes, Chad now admits fighting inside Sudan with SAF and is sending a mission to Khartoum. Cool. A politcal vicious circle.

I can't really say that I blame them given the mess that the JJ have made of Eastern Chad. Not to mention the fact that parts of that country are turning into little proxy Darfurs as well.

Also didn't Khartoum back a coup attempt in the Chadian capital last year?

Darfur is a mess alright and seems to spill over the long borders quite easily. True little Darfurs are springing up everywhere. I guess there have always been trouble in Chad's eastern border, even before Darfur pop up in the scene and stole the show.

Hosting each other's rebels is a kind of cold war strategy: if you mess with me I mess with you too. I don't have any proofs about the attempted coup, but the media seems to beleive it is true. Many Sudanese too! The government can do anything!
