Sudan accepts UN's aid in Darfur

Now we are getting some where. President Omar El Bashir had accepted the new hybrid AU-UN force for Darfur.

Let us see where it will take us now. sigh

No they didn't. they only accepted UN's help but no troops at all.

It is always obvious that in the end, Sudan will give in to some pressure without losing face. What is a UN force? Beefed up AU force (mainly African) with UN support on the ground, logistics, etc.

In politics there are no permanent friends and no permanent enemies. That is a fact.

Sometimes, politicians throw different ideas just to test the people's reaction. They can always DENY their own comments, phrases like 'taken out of context' etc.
